Local Hire Application Process

Please read the following important information before applying for a position with ISG

Who is eligible to apply for local hire positions?

ISG is only able to accept applications for local hire positions from Saudi Nationals (male and female) and female expatriate dependents. We particularly welcome applications from qualified Saudi National candidates, as they are under-represented within ISG at this time. Unfortunately, as per Saudi Arabian employment regulations, ISG is unable to consider applications from male expatriates.

What is required for female expatriate dependents to work at ISG?

Female expatriate dependent employment at ISG is conditional and subject to receiving permission from the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Education and approval from the Saudi Arabian Ministry of Labor in the form of an AJEER Certificate (“work permit”).

Upon invitation by ISG, prospective employees will be requested to complete a work permit application package. Once completed, ISG will assist with the process of applying for a work permit.

Note: A work permit is required to work at ISG and must be obtained prior to receiving a contract, beginning work, and receiving a salary.

What are the work permit application requirements for female expatriate dependents?

Work permit application requirements include, but are not limited to:

  1. A copy of your university degree that has been authenticated (stamped) by the Saudi Embassy or Cultural Mission/Bureau in the country where your degree was earned
  2. A valid Iqama (residency permit)
  3. Medical clearance (doctor’s certification of “fitness to work”)

What should I do in advance to prepare myself to be an eligible candidate?

Begin the process of having your university degree authenticated by the Saudi Embassy or Cultural Mission/Bureau in the country where the degree was earned.

What should I do to be considered for an open position that is currently advertised?

Formally apply by completing our electronic application which requires the following to be uploaded:

  1. Cover Letter clearly indicating the position you are applying for and why you would like to be considered
  2. Current CV/Resume’
  3. Photograph (passport-style)
