Rhonda Norris

Rhonda Norris

Rhonda Norris has been an educational leader and CPA for more than 36 years. She has held leadership positions in international schools in six countries including the Dominican Republic, Japan, China, Singapore and Saudi Arabia. Prior to joining ISG, she was the director at Anglo-American School of Moscow, Russia.

Rhonda holds a BBA in business and accounting, a masters in education and a Texas leadership certification. Rhonda joined ISG in August 2024, accompanied by her husband Will.

Dr. Michelle Alzamora

Assistant Superintendent

Dr. Michelle Alzamora

Dr. Michelle Alzamora joined ISG in August 2026. With a wealth of experience in international education dating back to 1999, Michelle possesses a deep understanding of the unique opportunities and strengths inherent in global learning communities.

Michelle holds an Ed.D in Educational Leadership and has served as an elementary school principal in two distinct international school settings, including one within the region. This experience is complemented by her tenure as Director of Teaching and Learning for a system comprising four schools.

Balqees Al Ghamdi

Director of Human Resources and Government Compliance

Balqees Al Ghamdi

Balqees has been with ISG for 15 years and began her role as director of human resources in 2023. She holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and an MBA. She has also completed the Women Leaders Programme from INSEAD Business School’s executive education program.

Throughout her career, she has held various support positions and the role of ISG manager of human resources, and has accumulated extensive experience and in-depth knowledge of ISG’s processes and Saudi Arabia’s labor laws.

Joseph Bearns

Director of Operations and Facilities

Joseph Bearns

Joseph has been with ISG for over 10 years and began his role as director of operations in 2022. He holds a master’s degree in educational leadership and is a licensed superintendent.

Throughout his career as an international educator and leader, he has developed an understanding of diverse educational contexts and the skills necessary to oversee the operations of complex educational institutions, including strategic planning and implementing and building strong teams

Hans Ott

Director of Strategic Priorities and Special Projects

Hans Ott

Hans began his tenure with ISG as director of teaching and learning in 2021. He holds a master’s degree in teaching and learning, a bachelor's degree in education, mathematics and physics as well as principal and superintendent credentials.

Throughout his career in education, he has worked as a teacher, school administrator, director, assistant superintendent and school board member. He presents at various educational conferences on the topics of grading and assessment, technology integration, equity and inclusion and special education. He has also been a board member on various educational organizations and a contributor to publications on topics regarding early literacy and quality curriculum.
