On Wednesday, 17 September,  23 British School Dhahran (BSD) students received the Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française (DELF) award, recognizing their achievement in French language proficiency.

This internationally recognized certification from the French Ministry of Education reflects the students’ dedication and academic excellence. Of the 23 students who passed the DELF examinations this year, 18 achieved A1, four attained A2 and one earned a B2 qualification.

Distinguished guests attending the award ceremony included Cultural Advisor Raphael Justine, Director Benoit Juppy and Academic Director Mira Moghrabi from Alliance Française in Khobar. In their remarks, the speakers commended the students’ perseverance and highlighted the value of international achievements in today’s global environment.

BSD’s ongoing success in the DELF examinations demonstrates the value of our partnership with Alliance Française, providing students with high-quality French language and cultural education.

Guided by BSD teachers Hala Ghoneim and Jacquie Issa, students met the challenges of the DELF programme with determination and enthusiasm. Their achievements reflect both their commitment and the strong support of our language faculty.

This achievement is a proud moment for the BSD community and reflects our commitment to academic excellence and multicultural understanding. We look forward to seeing how these students will use their French language skills to pursue new opportunities.
