The International Baccalaureate (IB) Peer Mentorship Program officially launched its first meeting of the 2025–26 academic year at American School Dhahran, bringing together new and returning IB students for a collaborative and supportive start to the year.
ASD Students were welcomed with opening remarks from school leadership, followed by an introduction to the program’s purpose and structure. The event provided an opportunity for first-year IB students to meet their mentors, experienced second-year IB students who volunteer their time to guide and support their peers through the challenges and opportunities of the IB journey.
The session featured an engaging Q&A where mentees asked thoughtful questions and received advice on everything from study habits and time management to maintaining wellbeing and balance throughout the program.
This kickoff marks an important step in building a strong sense of community among IB students and encouraging a culture of peer support, leadership and academic excellence.
The school looks forward to continued collaboration and connection throughout the year as the IB Peer Mentorship Program grows and evolves.
