The Superintendent’s Student Advisory Council, comprised of 30 student representatives from ISG’s five campuses: American School Dhahran, British School Dhahran, ISG Dammam, ISG Jubail and Sara Village School, met Tuesday, Nov. 18, to review and present results from the Student Pulse Check Survey. The survey collected more than 1,400 responses from students across all campuses.

Five American School Dhahran students were among the presenters who shared emerging trends, key observations and recommendations, as well as steps already underway at each school to address the feedback. Council members delivered thoughtful summaries of their campus-based efforts to elevate student voice and ensure feedback reaches the appropriate stakeholders to guide positive change.

The Student Pulse Survey, introduced by the Advisory Council at the start of the school year, is designed to gather student insights on ISG’s key priorities and identify areas for improvement. This tool has quickly become an important mechanism for guiding decisions and ensuring that student perspectives remain central to school planning.

Throughout the meeting, students demonstrated impressive leadership and strategic thinking as they described how they collected data, analyzed results and developed action steps based on their peers’ input. Their work continues to strengthen communication between students and school leaders and supports our ongoing efforts to provide meaningful, responsive and student-centered learning environments.

We are grateful for the dedication of our SSAC and look forward to the continued impact of their work across ISG campuses.
