American School Dhahran students continued to demonstrate teamwork and competitive spirit as the ASD boys basketball teams competed in a recent U19 Basketball Jamboree tournament hosted at the Dhahran campus. The event brought together the ASD U19 A, ASD U19 B and ASD U16 teams, providing valuable game experience.

The ASD U19 A team delivered a strong performance, winning all of its games by a 2-0 margin. The ASD U19 B team also competed confidently, earning 2-0 victories in its matchups. The ASD U16 team gained important experience, finishing the tournament with a 1-2 record while competing with determination and resilience.

Beyond the results, the tournament served as a key preparation opportunity for upcoming NESAC competitions, with the U19 and U16 teams set to compete against other teams in the region.

Throughout the event, all players benefited from meaningful court time and demonstrated teamwork while exemplifying ISG’s core values of respect and integrity in a competitive basketball setting.

The teams were guided by coaches Mr. Mahfooz Fakeeh and Mr. Wyatt Franz with the U16 squad and Mr. Orion Cervio and Mr. Vadim Berg with the U19 A and B teams. Their leadership and support continue to play an essential role in developing student-athletes and strengthening ASD’s high school basketball program.
