ASD Celebrates Elementary and Middle School Artists at End-of-Year Art Exhibition

American School Dhahran showcased a vibrant display of student artistry with the opening of the annual End-of-Year Art Exhibition. This year's exhibition features a curated collection of works from talented elementary students, as well as middle school students. The diverse showcase highlights the artistic journeys undertaken by these students throughout the academic year.

Visitors to the exhibition encountered a wide array of two-dimensional and three-dimensional creations, demonstrating explorations in drawing, painting and the tactile medium of clay sculpture. Through their coursework, students have developed their skills in capturing varied perspectives, including expansive bird's-eye views and intimate worm's-eye angles, alongside skillfully rendered portraits from multiple viewpoints.

A significant component of the art curriculum this year involved encouraging students to engage with the work of renowned artists as a source of inspiration. Rather than direct imitation, the focus was on creatively applying learned objectives while integrating their own unique styles and imaginative concepts.

The End-of-Year Art Exhibition serves as a proud platform for parents and the community to celebrate the dedication, talent, and extensive artistic exploration of ASD's young artists.
