ASD Commemorates First WOW Week Meeting with Middle School Students

American School Dhahran held its first WOW Week meeting of the academic year with middle school students this week, setting the stage for a year filled with transformative learning experiences both on and off campus.
WOW Week, short for "Week Without Walls" has been a cornerstone of ASD’s experiential learning program for several years, offering students the chance to step beyond the traditional classroom and into real-world environments that challenge, inspire and educate. Over the years, WOW Week has taken high school students across the globe, promoting cultural exchange, service learning and personal growth. Now the program engages middle school and elementary students at the outset of the school year, expanding its reach and impact.
We are excited to announce that this year’s WOW Week will include trips across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. From exploring historical landmarks and natural wonders to engaging in service learning and community outreach, students will gain hands-on experience with diverse cultures and global perspectives. These trips are carefully designed to encourage leadership and curiosity.
ASD remains committed to providing its students with opportunities that enrich their education and personal development. Through cultural exploration and hands-on service, WOW Week reflects the school’s dedication to developing students with curiosity, compassion and confidence.
We look forward to sharing stories from our students as they embark on these journeys and to celebrating the lessons they will carry with them for years to come.
