The Aspiring Health Careers Club at American School Dhahran (ASD) proudly hosted a special talk by a team from Johns Hopkins Aramco Healthcare (JHAH) as part of the school’s annual Breast Cancer Awareness Campaign.

High school girls attended the informative session, where they learned about breast cancer prevention, the importance of early detection and what steps to take if something “didn’t feel right.” The event aimed to educate and encourage students to take an active role in their personal health and wellness.

The visit from JHAH professionals provided students with valuable knowledge and practical advice on staying informed and proactive about their well-being.

ASD extends heartfelt thanks to Ms. Renju Jacob for her continued support and dedication to bringing vital health education and awareness to the school community.

Events like this reflect ASD’s dedication to educating and equipping students with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed choices about their health and wellbeing.
