ASD Scorpions Triumph at NESAC U19 Volleyball Tournament

The NESAC U19 volleyball tournament was a tremendous success for the Scorpions, as both the boys’ and girls’ teams battled their way to championship titles. Over three days of intense competition, the teams demonstrated skill, grit and determination, fighting hard for every point.

Both championship matches came down to three thrilling sets against the American School of Kuwait (ASK). The Scorpions’ resilience and teamwork shone through, as the girls captured their fourth consecutive NESAC title and the boys secured their third straight championship.

Their outstanding performances reflected athletic excellence and the strength of ASD’s sportsmanship, preparation and team spirit. The victories were a true testament to the hard work of our student athletes and coaches, whose dedication continues to elevate the ASD athletics program.

A special thank you goes to the girls’ head coach, Ms. Celeste Guerrero; assistant coach, Ms. Ashlie Jensen; and boys’ coach, Mr. Michael Sprague, for their guidance, encouragement and support throughout the season. Their leadership has been instrumental in helping our teams reach new heights.
