On Sep. 17, American School Dhahran celebrated the achievements of 12 students who were awarded the Diplôme d'Études en Langue Française (DELF) certification, a significant academic milestone and a proud moment for our school community.
The DELF is an internationally recognized certification awarded by the French Ministry of Education. It assesses a student’s proficiency in the French language across reading, writing, listening and speaking skills. The program is known for its rigorous standards and is respected worldwide by universities, employers and government institutions.
At ASD, students prepare for the DELF through a strong curriculum supported by expert instruction from our French faculty and our valued partnership with the Alliance Française. The recent success of our students reflects months of dedication, consistency and commitment to mastering a second language.
This achievement represents academic success. It speaks to our students’ global mindset and their ability to thrive in multicultural environments.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to these students for their outstanding performance. Their accomplishment reflects their hard work and ASD’s commitment to high-quality, globally focused education.
We look forward to seeing how their language skills continue to grow and open doors to new opportunities around the world.
