On Nov. 18, 2025, American School Dhahran continued its commitment to real-world learning by hosting the 2025 Youth Forum in partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce. The event brought together students, young professionals, educators and business leaders to examine the critical role education plays in shaping future careers.

ASD was honored to have U.S. Consul General James Sindle in attendance and ISG's Superintendent Ms. Rhonda Norris gave a warm welcome note to kick off the event.

The forum featured a mentorship walk, a panel discussion and guided table conversations designed to help students explore career pathways in a meaningful and interactive setting. Throughout the day, students engaged with industry professionals, asked questions about future opportunities and gained insight into overcoming challenges that many young professionals face today.

These experiences directly support ASD’s mission to prepare students for life beyond the classroom. Our college and career readiness initiatives emphasize mentorship, networking and applied learning, key components showcased throughout the forum. By connecting students with both early-career professionals and veteran leaders, the event strengthened their understanding of professional development and broadened their awareness of emerging career fields.

The Youth Forum also highlighted ASD’s dedication to building strong community partnerships that enhance student learning. These collaborations enrich our programs and ensure our students are equipped with the skills, confidence and perspective needed to thrive in an ever-changing world.
