ASD U19 Basketball Teams Shine at NESAC Tournament in Kuwait

This past weekend, both the U19 boys and girls basketball teams represented American School Dhahran with incredible effort and determination at the NESAC Tournament hosted by the American International School of Kuwait. Each team gave its best effort in a series of intense and competitive games.

The boys' team faced a tough opponent but triumphed with a hard-fought victory, securing 3rd place in the tournament. Meanwhile, the girls’ team battled through close games against the schools, showcasing their skill and resilience throughout the weekend.

In addition to their remarkable performances on the court, both the U19 girls and boys teams earned the prestigious NESAC Sportsmanship Award. This marks the boys’ third consecutive win of this honor, a testament to their exemplary conduct and teamwork.

A special congratulations goes to two of our students, a high school student and a middle school student, who were named the NESAC U19 Basketball All-Tournament Team for their standout individual performances.

We are incredibly proud of both teams for their hard work, dedication and sportsmanship, and look forward to their continued success in future competitions.
