ASD Varsity Takes 1st and 3rd Place in SAIKAC Badminton Tournament

In an incredibly strong competition, American School Dhahran’s varsity girls and boys’ teams stole center stage.The ASD girls won first place and the boys won third place in the SAIKAC U19 Badminton Tournament.

Four schools from around the kingdom met in Riyadh on February 1-2 to showcase their skills and compete in a spirited atmosphere: American School Dhahran, ISG Dammam, American International School in Riyadh and The KAUST School.

The badminton courts were energized by the talented athletes, intense matches and loud cheers of supporters, but the other teams were no match for our Scorpions’ technical abilities and commitment to finish strong.

Congratulations to all our athletes and their coaches Alichia and Retief Gerber and Kat Oefelein on a fantastic finish to the season.
