ASD Welcomes Students Back for a Promising New School Year

The first day of school marked a joyful return to campus for students, staff and families across the district, as American School Dhahran welcomed both new and returning students back into classrooms on Sunday.

“The first day back was exciting, I loved seeing my friends again and exploring my new classroom,” said an elementary student at ASD. “Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, it made me feel like I belong here. I’m looking forward to all the new things we’ll learn this year and all the fun moments ahead.” Said a new high school student.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement and energy, as laughter echoed through the halls and students reconnected with friends and teachers. Elementary school students kicked off the day with guided tours of their new learning spaces, helping them get comfortable and confident in their surroundings. Across the district, students were met with welcoming smiles, encouraging words and a sense of community that reflects the heart of ASD.

The first day is just the beginning of what promises to be an exciting and enriching academic year at ASD. With new initiatives, engaging learning opportunities and a continued focus on student wellbeing and achievement. We are looking forward to the milestones ahead.

Here’s to a year filled with curiosity, growth and success.
