British School Dhahran Excels at the U16 Badminton Jamboree

On 24 January, BSD proudly participated in the U16 Badminton Jamboree, with two boys’ teams and two girls’ teams representing the school with enthusiasm, discipline and competitive spirit. The event brought together schools from across the region, offering a valuable platform for students to test their skills and gain competitive match experience.

The U16 Boys A and U16 Girls A teams delivered outstanding performances, remaining undefeated throughout the jamboree. Their consistency, teamwork and tactical awareness were evident in every match, reflecting the high standards of training and preparation at BSD.

The U16 Boys B and U16 Girls B teams also demonstrated strong effort and determination, recording a mix of wins alongside closely contested losses. These competitive matches provided important learning opportunities, helping the teams develop resilience, confidence and readiness as they continue their preparation for upcoming SAIKAC competitions.

At British School Dhahran, we believe that participation in competitive sport plays a vital role in developing character, teamwork and leadership. We are proud of all our U16 badminton players for representing BSD with commitment and sportsmanship, and we look forward to seeing their continued progress in future tournaments.
