BSD Key Stage 5 Students Achieve Outstanding A Level Results in January Examinations

Key Stage 5 students at British School Dhahran (BSD) have demonstrated exceptional academic achievement in their January 2026 International A Level (IAL) unit examinations in science and mathematics. These results reflect the dedication, discipline and perseverance our students bring to their studies, as well as the strong academic support provided by our teachers.

In the January examination session, several BSD students earned the highest possible grade of A across multiple subjects:

• Biology: 3 students achieved A grades
• Chemistry: 2 students achieved A grades
• Physics: 5 students achieved A grades
• Mathematics: 10 students achieved A grades
• Further Mathematics: 1 student achieved an A grade

Notably, one student achieved an extraordinary accomplishment by earning four A grades across multiple subjects in this examination series.

These results highlight the strength of BSD’s academic program and the commitment of our students to excellence in challenging A level coursework. The January examinations represent an important milestone in the A level journey and provide valuable preparation as students continue toward their final examinations later this year.

We congratulate our students on these outstanding achievements and look forward to supporting them as they continue their studies and prepare for the upcoming A level examinations in May. Their dedication and hard work exemplify the high standards of learning and achievement that define the BSD community.
