On September 29, ISG Dammam welcomed a representative from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, to meet with senior students and provide an in-depth look at the opportunities available at one of Canada’s leading institutions. The visit was part of ISG’s ongoing effort to support students as they explore post-secondary pathways and prepare for life after graduation.

During the presentation seniors learned about Carleton’s strong academic programs, including its highly regarded offerings in public affairs, engineering, business and international studies. The representative also highlighted the university’s location in the Canadian capital, which provides students with unique access to internships, research opportunities and cultural experiences connected to government and international organizations.

Students were introduced to Carleton’s student-centered approach to learning and its welcoming campus community. Information on admissions requirements, scholarships and financial aid options was shared to help students and families understand the steps needed to apply. The session also emphasized the value of studying abroad and the personal growth that comes from experiencing higher education in a global setting.

Seniors were encouraged to ask questions throughout the presentation, and many engaged in thoughtful discussions about campus life, academic support and career preparation. By hearing directly from a university representative, students were able to gain a clearer picture of what it might be like to pursue their studies in Canada.

This visit from Carleton University reflects ISG Dammam’s commitment to preparing students for the future by connecting them with universities from around the world. With many more visits planned throughout the school year, our seniors are being provided with the tools and information they need to make confident choices about the next step in their academic journey.
