Eco Club Leads Sustainability Initiative at ISG Jubail

As a proud Eco School, ISG Jubail continues to build on its commitment to environmental responsibility by strengthening sustainable practices across campus. This year, the Eco Club took another meaningful step by expanding recycling and waste-sorting efforts as part of the school’s ongoing sustainability journey.

The effort focused on collecting and sorting organic waste in the multi-purpose room, marking an important step toward more mindful daily habits and shared responsibility for the environment.

During the first weeks of the initiative, Eco Club students supported their peers during lunch and break times. They offered guidance, answered questions and helped everyone feel confident about sorting waste correctly. Their presence created a positive and encouraging atmosphere where learning happened naturally through conversation and example.

Three composting stations were set up to support the effort, making it easier for students and staff to take part. The initiative reflected a shared sense of care for the campus and for one another, as small actions added up to meaningful progress. The community embraced the opportunity to learn together and contribute toward a more sustainable future at ISG Jubail.
