ISG Jubail came together in pink to recognize Breast Cancer Awareness Day, joining a global movement that emphasizes care, education and unity. Across the school, students and staff took time to learn, reflect and engage in meaningful activities that connected science, empathy and community.
In elementary school, students participated in an interactive learning session that explored how the immune system works to protect the body. Through a mix of discussion, visuals and a hands-on game, they discovered how the body’s defenses can recognize and fight cancer cells. The session encouraged students to ask questions and think deeply about health, awareness and the importance of compassion for those affected by illness.
Meanwhile, middle and high school students spent their advisory periods participating in activities designed to express support and understanding. Each advisory group signed a large pink ribbon and wrote letters of encouragement, which the Compassion Club will share as messages of kindness and strength. The activity created space for reflection and conversation, helping students connect with the values of empathy and community care that are central to ISG Jubail.
Throughout the day, classrooms and hallways were filled with shades of pink, symbolizing solidarity and hope. The event reflected ISG Jubail’s ongoing commitment to teaching with heart, encouraging awareness, respect and compassion while strengthening the sense of togetherness that defines our community.
