ISG Dammam was pleased to welcome our Head of College and Career Programs, Mrs. Mona Lewars, for a special session with the parents of our Grade 12 students. The meeting created a valuable space for families to ask questions, gain insight into the months ahead and better understand the journey from high school to university.

Mrs. Lewars guided parents through the details of the college application process, from exploring university options to understanding deadlines and preparing strong applications. She also addressed common questions and concerns, helping families feel more confident as they support their children through this important stage. Discussions touched on what lies ahead after high school, including the academic, personal and practical considerations that come with choosing a university pathway.

Her visit came during a busy start to the school year, one filled with university-focused events designed to support the Class of 2026. September saw representatives from universities such as Boston University, Carleton University, New York University Abu Dhabi, Queen’s University, the University of Alberta, the University of Calgary and the University of Toronto meeting directly with ISG students. These visits gave seniors the chance to explore programs, learn about scholarships and receive the latest updates on admissions requirements.

In addition to university visits, ISG students are also benefitting from College Clinics. These sessions provide hands-on support with applications, ranging from general guidance to focused workshops on topics such as early applications and UCAS. The clinics are held both on campus and virtually on Saturday mornings, ensuring accessibility for all students. Counselors, including Mrs. Lewars, share schedules directly with students so they can take full advantage of the opportunities available.

At ISG, helping students navigate the transition to higher education remains a top priority. By meeting with parents, answering questions, and building awareness of the steps ahead, Mrs. Lewars has strengthened the partnership between home and school. Her session not only reassured families but also reinforced ISG’s commitment to preparing every student to take confident next steps toward their future.
