ISG Dammam’s Virtual Book Club
SHARE
Even while learning from home, our ISG Dammam community continues to find meaningful ways to stay connected. During the past week and a half of virtual learning, teachers have been creating engaging experiences that bring students together in new ways. One of those highlights was a special virtual Book Club hosted by our librarian, Mrs. Betsey, along with our student book club organizer.
Students logged in with excitement, ready to share their thoughts about their assigned books. The conversation quickly grew into a lively discussion as students spoke about the characters they admired, the moments that surprised them and the lessons they discovered through reading. Many students also introduced other books they have been enjoying, which sparked curiosity and new recommendations among their peers.
Even through a screen, the session felt warm and welcoming. Students listened closely to one another, asked thoughtful questions, and spoke with enthusiasm about the stories that captured their attention. It was a wonderful reminder that reading has the power to bring people together and open doors to new ideas, new perspectives, and new conversations.
Opportunities like this virtual Book Club show how learning at ISG Dammam continues to thrive in every setting. With creativity from our teachers and excitement from our students, meaningful discussions, joyful discovery and a strong love of reading continue to grow within our community.
