ISG Jubail Campus Council Engages in Meaningful Learning Walk
SHARE
The ISG Jubail School Council, a collaborative group of parents, teachers and student members, recently came together for a thoughtful learning walk across elementary, middle and high school divisions. Bringing these voices together ensures that multiple perspectives are considered as the school continues to grow and improve.
Moving through a wide range of classrooms and subject areas, members had the opportunity to see learning in action throughout the campus, visiting core academic lessons and specialist classes, each visit offered a glimpse into the many ways students engage with ideas and collaborate with their peers.
What made the experience especially meaningful was the opportunity to connect directly with students. Council members paused to ask questions, listen carefully and invite students to share their thoughts. Students spoke about their goals, explained their strategies and reflected on their progress with honesty and confidence. These conversations provided valuable insight into how teaching practices are shaping student experiences and how learners perceive their own development.
Following the classroom visits, the Campus Council gathered to reflect on what they had observed. The discussion centered on how these moments of learning connect to the school’s shared goals and vision. Members spoke about areas of strength, identified opportunities for continued growth and considered how to further support an environment that places students at the center of learning.
The learning walk served as a reminder that strong schools are built through listening, reflection and a shared commitment to continuous improvement across the entire community.
