ISG Jubail recently welcomed counselors from across ISG for their monthly collaboration meeting. These gatherings provide an opportunity for counselors to share experiences, discuss their roles and explore ways to continue supporting student wellbeing across all ISG schools.

During the meeting, participants discussed shared practices, professional growth and personal development opportunities. A key focus was the ongoing work on the ISG Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) handbook, as well as initial discussions on developing a dedicated ISG Counselor Handbook to help standardize counseling processes across the network.

The visit also included a school tour, giving counselors the chance to experience ISG Jubail’s welcoming environment firsthand. Many shared positive reflections on the school’s warm culture, engaging learning spaces and strong sense of community.

Elementary Counselor Mr. Aaron Frontiera shared, “I really value meeting as a group because we learn from each other and with each other. Visiting different schools gives us the opportunity to see how our peers engage with their students and celebrate their successes.”

Middle and High School Counselor Mrs. Tricia Jordaan expressed her appreciation for hosting the group, saying, “The highlight for me is always hearing counselors’ positive feedback about our school and how warm and welcoming the culture feels.”

The meeting reflected the counselors’ shared commitment to collaboration, growth and student-centered care, values that continue to strengthen relationships across the ISG community.
