The ISG community came together for the U14 and U19 Football Jamboree, welcoming boys and girls teams into a friendly environment centered on teamwork, learning and connection. Jamboree offered ISG Jubail students the chance to come together as teams, talk through strategies and experience what it means to support one another while playing against fellow ISG schools. Matches were competitive in spirit yet grounded in respect, creating an atmosphere where growth and enjoyment were equally valued.
For the U19 teams, the Jamboree came during a demanding period as students balanced academics, the IBDP and other sports commitments. Despite these responsibilities, players demonstrated focus and resilience on the field. The chance to engage in friendly competition allowed them to apply their skills in a supportive environment and reconnect with the joy of the game alongside their peers.
For the U14 boys and girls, the Jamboree marked a first experience with friendly competition for many of the players. Throughout the day, students learned how teamwork takes shape during play and how communication influences success. Playing at a different location added excitement to the experience and encouraged adaptability. As the matches progressed, improvement became clear as players communicated more confidently and worked together with purpose. Their talent and enthusiasm stood out and reflected their willingness to learn and grow as a team.
The Football Jamboree highlighted the value of shared experiences in building confidence, connection and understanding across age groups. ISG Jubail is proud of the commitment, sportsmanship and positive attitudes shown by all players and grateful to the coaches and staff who supported the students throughout the day. The experience left teams encouraged, motivated and eager to continue growing together through sport.
