ISG Jubail Students Bring Critical Thinking to Life in Assembly
SHARE
On February 26, the ISG Jubail elementary community gathered for a special assembly led by students who shared their learning about critical thinking. The presentation created a meaningful moment for the school as young learners confidently stood before their peers and explained how thoughtful thinking helps guide everyday decisions. Through relatable examples and clear explanations, students helped their audience understand how asking questions, reflecting carefully and considering different perspectives can shape the way we respond to challenges.
Throughout the assembly, students brought their ideas to life through short dramatic performances that illustrated real life situations. Many students also dressed in handmade costumes representing different careers such as police officers, engineers, astronauts, doctors and other professions. These characters helped show how critical thinking plays an important role in everyday work and decision making. Through their performances, students demonstrated how thoughtful thinking can guide choices, support problem solving and encourage individuals to pause and reflect before acting.
The presentation also connected closely with the students’ recent English unit. To conclude the assembly, the group delivered a choral verse that reflected the themes they had been exploring in their learning. The performance brought voices together in a powerful moment that celebrated both creativity and confidence.
Moments like these strengthen the sense of community across ISG Jubail. When students are given opportunities to share their learning with others, they grow in confidence and develop a deeper sense of ownership over their ideas. The elementary learners demonstrated both courage and creativity as they stood in front of their peers and communicated an important message about thinking carefully and making thoughtful choices.
ISG Jubail is proud of the students who led the assembly and grateful to the teachers who guided them throughout the unit. Their effort, enthusiasm and willingness to share their learning created an experience that will continue to inspire thoughtful conversations across the campus.
