SHARE
On Monday, January 26, ISG Jubail welcomed parents, faculty and staff for a parent engagement session titled Empowering Parents: A Workshop on Resilient Parenting.
The gathering reflected a shared commitment to student wellbeing and the belief that strong partnerships between school and home play an essential role in helping children thrive. The atmosphere throughout the session was warm, thoughtful and grounded in open conversation.
The workshop was facilitated by Dr. Jamie Martin, principal at ISG Jubail, who guided participants through an engaging discussion on resilience and its importance for both students and adults. Families explored what resilience looks like in everyday life and why it matters across all stages of learning. Through guided reflection and practical examples, parents considered ways to support problem solving, emotional awareness and healthy coping strategies within their homes.
A meaningful part of the conversation centered on parental resilience. Parents were invited to reflect on their own experiences, challenges and strengths, recognizing that caring for themselves supports their ability to care for their children. The session also highlighted the value of collaboration between families and ISG schools, encouraging continued communication and shared responsibility in creating supportive learning environments.
Designed with interaction at its heart, the workshop offered space for discussion, shared stories and practical takeaways parents could carry forward. The event strengthened connections among families and reinforced a sense of belonging across the ISG community.
ISG Jubail extends sincere thanks to all who joined and contributed to a meaningful afternoon focused on growth, understanding and resilience together.
