Numeracy Week at ISG Jubail brought a joyful energy to the elementary campus as students and teachers celebrated math through creativity, collaboration and everyday problem solving. Across the week, classrooms became places where numbers felt exciting and meaningful and students were encouraged to try new strategies, talk through their thinking and learn from one another in ways that felt supportive and fun.

Math is more than worksheets and answers. It helps students make sense of the world around them. It creates opportunities for connection through questions, modeling and shared problem solving. Throughout Numeracy Week, students explored how different minds approach the same challenge, they practiced explaining their ideas with confidence. The week also offered moments where teachers, students and families could feel connected through learning that felt real and relevant.

Each day brought its own theme and spirit. Sunday kicked off with the 100th Day of School, when students celebrated 100 days of growth with creative outfits, posters and projects that helped them represent 100 in imaginative ways. Monday aligned with International Day and connected math to patterns and geometry, inviting students to notice designs and shapes that exist all around them. Tuesday brought Hidden Numbers in My Pocket Day, where students had fun with number mysteries and creative clues. Wednesday was Dice Day, filling classrooms with games that strengthened number sense through play and teamwork. The week ended on Thursday with Sports Jersey Day, where students proudly wore jerseys and favorite numbers while continuing to build connections between math, identity and community.

Numeracy Week was a reminder of what makes learning at ISG Jubail feel special. It is a community where students are encouraged to take risks, celebrate progress and find joy in the process. Through shared laughter, thoughtful conversations and hands-on experiences, the elementary campus came together to celebrate the beauty of learning, one number at a time.
