Outstanding Performance by BSD Student-Athletes at SAIKAC U19 Badminton Tournament

On 29-30 January, British School Dhahran entered two boys’ teams and two girls’ teams. Across all matches, our students demonstrated determination, resilience and a strong sense of teamwork, proudly representing the school.

The Girls’ B Team recorded a combination of wins and losses over the course of the competition. Their performances highlighted clear progress, growing confidence and a positive competitive mindset, all of which are encouraging signs for the future development of the squad.

The Boys’ B Team competed strongly in the plate bracket and were awarded the Plate Trophy, a well-earned achievement that reflected their perseverance and commitment throughout the tournament.

Outstanding performances were also delivered by our A teams in the championship bracket. The Boys’ A Team were crowned champions for the second consecutive year, an exceptional accomplishment that underlines their consistency, skill and teamwork. Meanwhile, the Girls’ A Team produced a series of impressive matches to secure second place in the championship, finishing as well-deserved runners-up.

All four teams are to be congratulated for their effort, sportsmanship and dedication. Their performances exemplify the values of British School Dhahran and the spirit of competitive sport.
