Students Bring Saudi National Day to Life at the British School Dhahran

This week, the British School Dhahran community celebrated the 95th Saudi National Day with pride and unity. The campus was vibrant as students, staff and faculty embraced the significance of the occasion.

Pupils deepened their understanding of Saudi culture through a range of activities. A traditional tent, reflecting this year’s theme, “Pride in Our Nature,” allowed students to explore the Kingdom’s heritage and natural beauty, fostering greater appreciation for our host country.

The highlight of the celebration was the traditional Ardha sword dance, which engaged and captivated the entire community. Students, teachers and staff joined together, creating a joyful moment that reflected unity and respect for Saudi traditions.

Seeing our diverse community unite to honor Saudi Arabia’s heritage was both meaningful and inspiring. We look forward to continuing this tradition of cultural learning and celebration at British School Dhahran.
