Grade 5 students at ISG Dammam proudly showcased their learning through an engaging event titled “Voices of Ancient Civilization.” The activity celebrated their exploration of the Inca, Maya and Aztec civilizations, bringing history to life through creativity and collaboration.

In preparation for the event, students created historical-themed brochures highlighting important aspects of life in their chosen civilization. Their work included details about culture, achievements and daily life that reflected careful research and deep understanding. During the showcase, the auditorium turned into a lively museum filled with color, curiosity and conversation.

Students walked around the room, viewed one another’s projects and shared new facts they had discovered. Each presentation gave them the chance to explain their work and practice clear communication skills. A feedback board stood at the center of the event, where students placed sticky notes expressing what they enjoyed about each class display or individual project. The exchange of thoughtful comments encouraged support, reflection, interest and growth.

To close the celebration, an expert panel of selected students took the stage to answer questions from their classmates. Their confidence and knowledge impressed the audience, and the session sparked deeper discussion about the connections between ancient societies and the modern world.

The Voices of Ancient Civilization event was an exciting way for Grade 5 students to demonstrate their learning journey. Through research, creativity, hard work and peer interaction, they gained a stronger appreciation for history and for the value of sharing knowledge within a community of learners.
