Week Without Walls Brings Real World Learning to ISG Jubail

Week Without Walls at ISG Jubail offered students the opportunity to step beyond traditional classroom learning and experience education in meaningful, hands-on ways. Throughout the week, learning connected naturally to real life as students explored service, creativity, collaboration and practical skills that encouraged independence and curiosity. While some students traveled off campus, many remained on campus and discovered new perspectives through a rich variety of experiences.
On campus activities reflected the spirit of exploration and included upcycling fashion, teamwork sessions in the gym, baking and cooking experiences such as Chinese dumpling making and tortilla preparation, pilates, Theory of Knowledge discussions and research skills development. Students also participated in tree planting and took part in a visit to the Marafiq plant, where learning extended into real world systems and environmental awareness. Each activity invited students to engage actively, ask questions and work together in new settings.
Midweek, Eco Club initiatives brought a special focus to sustainability and shared responsibility. Students rotated through sessions designed to support the school community as a whole, reinforcing the idea that caring for the environment is a collective effort.
Activities included pot planting and painting, fence painting and planning projects that contributed directly to the school environment. The experience encouraged students to think beyond individual tasks and consider how their actions support the wider community as ISG Jubail continues its journey toward becoming a Green Flag school.
Week Without Walls reflected the heart of ISG Jubail, where learning is connected, purposeful and rooted in community. Sincere thanks go to the teachers and staff whose dedication and planning made the week possible. Their commitment helped create an experience that students will remember as a meaningful chapter in their learning journey.
