A World of Celebration: International Day Unites the BSD and ASD Community

The British School Dhahran (BSD), in collaboration with the American School Dhahran (ASD), hosted International Day, bringing together students, staff and families to celebrate the cultural diversity that defines and connects our community.

The day began with a lively parade, where students, staff and families represented their home countries. Colorful displays, international cuisine and traditional attire showcased the cultures within the BSD and ASD communities. The event inspired connections across cultures and generations as participants shared the flavors, traditions, and stories of their homelands.

Throughout the day, families and students participated in activities that promoted cultural understanding and global awareness. Interactive booths, games, music and art displays provided opportunities for the community to connect, learn,and appreciate cultural diversity.

The celebrations continued with an international fashion show, where students demonstrated creativity and confidence. Performances in music, dance and fashion inspired by cultures worldwide reflected the enthusiasm, teamwork, and school spirit that make BSD a vibrant learning environment.
