ISG Jubail’s Wellness Committee organized a special after-school afternoon of wellness activities in celebration of World Teachers’ Day, giving staff a chance to slow down, recharge and spend time together after a busy start to the school year. The event reflected the committee’s commitment to promoting balance, gratitude and connection within the ISG Jubail community. Teachers were invited to choose from a range of sessions that encouraged movement, creativity and calm. In “Stretch and Flow,” participants enjoyed guided yoga and breathing exercises that helped ease tension and restore focus. “Creative Calm” offered time for mandala drawing, where teachers explored colors and patterns as a relaxing form of mindfulness. Outdoors, “Frisbee Fun” brought friendly laughter to the gym, while “Walk and Talk” encouraged light conversation during a peaceful nature stroll. In “Mold with Gratitude,” staff members shaped clay into meaningful creations, using art as a way to reflect on the day’s theme of appreciation. The after-school celebration highlighted the spirit of care and appreciation that defines the ISG Jubail community. As teachers left, there was a shared sense of renewal and gratitude for the chance to come together, unwind and celebrate the meaningful work they do every day. Beyond this celebration, the Wellness Committee continues to create meaningful opportunities for staff to connect and grow together. Weekly activities like the staff ukulele club and the Arabic language club offer spaces for learning and community throughout the year.
