ASD Best Buddies’ First Visit of the Academic Year to ACCEL
SHARE
On Wednesday, October 7, ASD students from the Best Buddies Club visited the ACCEL program at Aramco for their first gathering of the academic year. The visit marked a special opportunity for returning members to reunite with their buddies and for new members to begin building meaningful friendships.
Through the Best Buddies Club, students are paired with children with intellectual and developmental disabilities, creating opportunities for connection, inclusion and shared experiences. During the visit, students spent time getting to know their buddies through play and activities, followed by a gathering in the gym where everyone enjoyed snacks and time together.
This first visit also provided an opportunity to reconnect and prepare for future gatherings, where ASD students will take a more active role in planning and hosting activities for their buddies.
We look forward to another year of friendship, inclusion and meaningful connections through the Best Buddies Club, reflecting ISG’s commitment to building a caring and inclusive community.
