ASD Community Reconnects During PTG Meeting Following Return to Campus

Following the return from virtual learning, the American School Dhahran community gathered once again on campus for a Parent Teacher Group meeting focused on connection, collaboration and student programs.

The meeting welcomed families back to campus and highlighted the importance of maintaining strong partnerships between school and home. ASD Principal Mr. Brent Wingers and International Schools Group Superintendent Ms. Rhonda Norris were in attendance and joined parents and staff in celebrating the continued strength of the ASD community.  

Guest speakers from ASD’s AP Race swim program, Ms. Amy Clarke and Ms. Roisin Patterson presented an overview of the school’s swim offerings and the opportunities available for students. Parents learned about the different swim teams at ASD, the support systems in place for student athletes and how the program encourages growth, teamwork and skill development at all levels.

The PTG also shared its schedule of upcoming events and activities planned for the remainder of the school year, giving parents an opportunity to stay informed and involved in campus life.

The gathering reflected ASD’s commitment to supporting a connected and engaged community. As students, families and staff continue the school year together on campus, events such as the PTG meeting serve as an important reminder of the strength and partnership that define the ASD experience.
