ASD High School Students Showcase Excellence in the Arts

Our Vocal Ensemble and Concert Choir performed in a special concert on Monday, April 27, after having only one in-person class together following eight weeks of break and virtual school. Despite the challenges, students remained committed to excellence and used the virtual learning period to polish their repertoire and submit recordings of individual sections to continue preparing their music independently.

Their dedication and strong work ethic were on full display as they returned to campus ready to combine their parts and perform in three-part harmony. The result was an outstanding concert that reflected both talent and perseverance.

The Concert Choir performed “Wonderful World” by Sam Cooke, “Dirait-On,” and “Thank You for the Music.” The Vocal Ensemble performed “Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You,” “The Impossible Dream,” and “Audition” from La La Land.

Parents and faculty were in awe of the students’ beautiful sound and polished performances. The concert served as another example of the high level of achievement students continue to demonstrate at American School Dhahran.
