Seven students from British School Dhahran, American School Dhahran (ASD) and ISG Dammam attended the KBR One Ocean Program closing ceremony on November 2 at the Prince Sultan Science and Technology Center (SciTech), celebrating their contributions to an initiative focused on marine conservation and environmental sustainability.
The event brought together students from across the Eastern Province to showcase innovative engineering solutions addressing marine environmental challenges. Through a gallery walk, students shared their projects and demonstrated how creative thinking and collaboration can contribute to protecting our oceans.
A special recognition goes to the dedicated teachers who guided and supported students throughout the program. Their encouragement and commitment played an important role in helping students develop their ideas, explore environmental challenges and gain a deeper understanding of their responsibility toward the environment.
The ceremony also recognized participating students with awards of appreciation and honored ISG with a trophy for its partnership with KBR. As the One Ocean Program continues, ASD looks forward to providing more opportunities for students to explore environmental issues, develop meaningful solutions and contribute to a more sustainable future.
