Students at British School Dhahran recently took part in an engaging KS2 Roman Day, immersing themselves in the fascinating world of Ancient Rome through a range of interactive and educational activities.

Working collaboratively, students became architects, engineers and citizens of the Roman Empire as they designed detailed Roman towns featuring forums, temples, amphitheatres, baths, roads and city walls.

The event also included a Roman parade, military formation demonstrations and a traditional Roman feast, providing valuable opportunities for hands-on learning and historical exploration.

By combining creativity, teamwork and practical experiences, Roman Day helped deepen students’ understanding of Roman civilisation while bringing history to life in a memorable and meaningful way.
