BSD Primary School proudly hosted its annual Art, Craft and Design Technology Exhibition, celebrating the creativity, innovation and achievements of students from Years 1 to 6.

The exhibition showcased an impressive range of projects that reflected strong cross-curricular learning, with students drawing inspiration from science, history and mathematics to inform their artistic and design work.

Across the year groups, students demonstrated a clear progression in creativity, technical skill and confidence through a variety of artistic techniques and design challenges. From environmental awareness projects and historical artwork to surrealist paintings and geometric compositions, the exhibition highlighted the breadth of learning taking place across the primary school.

In Design and Technology, students applied problem-solving, engineering and construction skills to create bridges, magnetic vehicles, Roman shields, Anglo-Saxon artefacts, Viking longships and circuit-powered room models, demonstrating a strong understanding of real-world design principles.

The exhibition provided a valuable opportunity for students to share their work with the school community while celebrating their imagination and enthusiasm for hands-on learning, reflecting BSD’s commitment to developing creative, innovative and independent learners.
