BSD Students Achieve Exceptional A Level Results Above UK Averages
SHARE
British School Dhahran is celebrating the achievements of its A level students following another successful set of examination results in 2026.
This year's students demonstrated strong performance at the highest grades, with 42% of all A levels awarded at A or A*, compared with 28.3% across UK schools. In addition, 87% of grades were A*–C, compared with 78.1% across the UK.
The cohort achieved:
- 16% of grades were awarded A*
- 26% of grades awarded at A
- 72% of all grades at A*–B.
These results represent more than examination success. A levels demand sustained commitment, independent thinking and the ability to engage deeply with increasingly complex academic material. Our students have demonstrated these qualities as they prepare to take their next steps into university, apprenticeships, work and other pathways beyond BSD.
We are especially proud that our students continue to combine academic ambition with the character and values that underpin life at British School Dhahran.
Congratulations to the Class of 2026, their families and the teachers who supported them throughout their A level journey. We wish our graduates every success as they begin the next chapter of their lives.
