Building Partnerships and Community at ASD’s First PTG Meeting
SHARE
The American School Dhahran Parent Teacher Group (PTG) welcomed families to its first meeting of the new school year today, bringing parents together to connect, share ideas and learn more about the many ways they can get involved in the ASD community.
The meeting was an opportunity for introductions, with parents and PTG members getting to know one another and beginning the important work of building new relationships and partnerships for the year ahead. Attendees also learned about upcoming events and opportunities to support the school community.
At ASD, strong parent partnerships are an important part of what makes our community special. When parents, teachers and the school work together, the impact can be felt throughout the school. Parent involvement brings energy, ideas and opportunities that enrich the experiences of our students and support our teachers in meaningful ways.
One of the wonderful things about the ASD PTG is that every ASD parent is automatically a member. There is no special sign-up required to join, and there are many ways to participate—whether you have a little time to share, would like to help with a specific event or project or simply want to learn more about what is happening in the school.
We encourage all parents to join us at the next PTG meeting and discover how you can get involved. Your voice, ideas and participation are always welcome, and together, we can continue building a strong community that has a beautiful and lasting impact on our students, teachers and families.
