Celebrating the 96th Saudi National Day at British School Dhahran

British School Dhahran proudly celebrated the 96th Saudi National Day under the theme Our Pride is in Our Nature, bringing together students, staff and the wider school community for a day of learning, cultural discovery and celebration.

Students embarked on an engaging journey across the Kingdom using their Saudi passports, travelling through different regions to discover the unique cultures, traditions and heritage that make Saudi Arabia so diverse. From falconry and traditional crafts to henna, cultural quizzes, challenges and interactive activities, each stop provided an opportunity for students to learn more about the Kingdom and its rich cultural heritage. 

The celebrations also highlighted the importance of student leadership and collaboration, with students actively involved in preparing and coordinating activities alongside and under the guidance of dedicated staff. The day brought the BSD Events Committee together in a shared celebration of Saudi culture, fostering teamwork, learning and a strong sense of pride within our events committee. 

Saudi National Day was a memorable opportunity for British School Dhahran’s community to celebrate the Kingdom’s heritage, diversity and cultural identity while creating meaningful experiences for our students.
