Celebrating Saudi National Day at American School Dhahran

The American School of Dhahran community came together to celebrate Saudi National Day, honoring the rich culture, heritage and history of the Kingdom.

The celebration provided an opportunity for our students to learn more about and appreciate the country we are proud to call home.  ASD hosted a traditional music and dance group that toured the school and brought energy and excitement to our hallways.  Our lobby transformed into a traditional Arabic seating area and classes were able to capture amazing photos.  We topped it off with a snack distribution and a bread baker to celebrate the special occasion.  Saudi National Day is also a wonderful reminder of the diverse community that makes ASD special, bringing together students and families from many backgrounds while celebrating our shared connection to Saudi Arabia.

We are grateful to be part of the Kingdom and to celebrate this special occasion with our ASD community.
