ISG Dammam’s PTG Opens the Door to Meaningful Conversations

ISG Dammam began the year with its first Parent Teacher Group (PTG) meeting, bringing parents and school administrators together for conversations focused on strengthening communication and supporting student learning.
A key part of the discussion was the importance of creating more opportunities for parents, teachers and administrators to connect throughout the school year. Parents shared that they would value communication that feels more social and interactive, with opportunities to discuss their children’s academic progress beyond scheduled PTC meetings.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to explore ways to strengthen mathematics at ISG Dammam. Parents and administrators discussed ideas and strategies that could support students as they continue developing their mathematical skills and confidence.
Another important focus was creating stronger communication around individual student needs. Parents expressed interest in having more opportunities to work with teachers and administrators to understand their children’s academic strengths, identify areas for improvement and consider ways to support their learning.
The first PTG meeting set the stage for continued conversations throughout the year. By creating space for parents to share their perspectives and engage directly with school leadership, ISG Dammam is working toward a stronger connection between home and school, with student learning at the heart of the conversation.
