ISG Dammam Business Students Showcase Entrepreneurial Innovation at Shark Tank Presentations

Business Studies students took center stage during their Shark Tank Presentations, the culminating event of the EconFair project and a key component of their final examination.

Throughout the project, students worked collaboratively to develop original business concepts, applying the principles of entrepreneurship, economics, marketing and financial planning learned throughout the course. The Shark Tank presentations provided an opportunity for students to pitch their ideas to an audience, learn to work with partners, defend their business models and demonstrate the research and strategic thinking behind their ventures.

Each team presented a unique business concept, outlining its value proposition, target market, operational strategy, teamwork and potential for growth. Students were challenged to think critically about real-world business challenges while developing innovative solutions that addressed consumer needs and market opportunities.

Students answered questions and got feedback during their presentations, in which they had to justify decisions and show they grasped key business ideas. They became better at thinking on their feet and applied what they learned in class to a real scenario. During the Shark Tank Presentations, students showed creativity and an entrepreneurial spirit. This big project helped them solve problems, think critically and communicate better. It also gave them insights into turning ideas into actual business plans.
