ISG Dammam Speakathon 2026 A Showcase of Oratory Excellence

The inaugural ISG Dammam Speakathon 2026 was a remarkable celebration of student voice, confidence, and creativity, leaving a lasting impression on everyone who attended. Centered around the inspiring theme “Voices that Inspire,” the event brought together talented student speakers from both Middle School and High School for an unforgettable showcase of public speaking and self-expression.

Students in Grades 6–12 took the stage to deliver original speeches that reflected courage, authenticity, and passion. Through thoughtful ideas, personal reflections, persuasive arguments, and heartfelt storytelling, speakers captivated their audience while demonstrating the powerful impact of confident communication.

What made the event even more impressive was the resilience and adaptability shown by students throughout the preparation process. After transitioning to a virtual format with only two weeks to prepare, students rose to the challenge with determination and professionalism. Despite the limited preparation time, each participant delivered polished and engaging speeches that highlighted both their speaking abilities and their dedication to the event.

The Speakathon was proudly organized by the Middle School and High School Debate Club and coordinated by Ms. Nadia Iqbal, alongside co-organizers Ms. Sadaf Ahmed and Ms. Aisha Nasir. Their hard work, leadership, and commitment played a vital role in bringing this vision to life and creating a meaningful platform for students to share their voices. Special thanks also go to Mr. Naidoo for his continuous support throughout the planning and execution of the event.

Most importantly, the Speakathon belonged to the students whose enthusiasm, confidence, and courage transformed the event into a truly memorable experience. Their performances reminded the entire school community of the importance of empowering young people to speak with confidence, express their ideas openly, and inspire others through their words.

The success of the very first ISG Dammam Speakathon marks the beginning of what promises to become a valued annual tradition celebrating student leadership, communication, and the power of voice within our school community.
