ISG Jubail’s Student Orientation Day Welcomes New Families

Student Orientation Day at ISG Jubail was a warm and welcoming start for new students and families as they stepped onto campus and began getting familiar with their new school community. Families gathered in the multi-purpose room for a welcome presentation where they were introduced to school leaders, counselors and teachers and received important information to help them feel prepared for the start of the new school year.

For elementary families, the day continued in their children’s homeroom classrooms, where they met teachers and explored the spaces where their children will spend much of their school day. Families also visited specialist areas, including Arabic, art, physical education, the library and music, giving them a fuller picture of their children’s learning experiences. A special part of the day was the school tour led by a grade 2 student. Having a student guide families around campus offered younger students a familiar and reassuring perspective as they prepared for their own first days at ISG Jubail.

Middle and high school families experienced a glimpse into the rhythm of a typical school day. Each family received a schedule similar to their student’s, allowing them to navigate campus from one class period to the next while meeting teachers and becoming familiar with different learning spaces. The day concluded with a campus tour led by middle and high school students, giving new families the opportunity to hear directly from students who know the school firsthand.

The day was filled with introductions, questions and conversations as families began building connections within their new community. With teachers, staff and student leaders ready to welcome them, new families left with a greater sense of familiarity and confidence as they looked ahead to the beginning of the school year.
