ISG Jubail Parent Teacher Group Continues Meaningful Work Across Campus

The Parent Teacher Group (PTG) recently gathered at ISG Jubail for another meaningful meeting centered on collaboration, community involvement and continued support for students across campus. Parents and teachers came together to share ideas, discuss upcoming initiatives and strengthen the connections that help create a positive learning environment for every child. The meeting reflected the strong partnership between families and educators and the shared commitment to helping students thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

One of the highlights of the meeting was the introduction of Kristin Kappelmann, ISG Jubail’s incoming principal. Families and staff warmly welcomed her to the community and looked forward to the opportunities ahead as the school continues to grow together. The PTG also heard updates from the Compassion Club, which continues to encourage empathy and generosity. Through projects like these, students are learning the importance of supporting others and understanding the impact that small acts of kindness can have.

The Eco Club also shared exciting updates about sustainability efforts taking place across campus. Parents learned more about student-led initiatives connected to recycling, conservation and environmental awareness, along with the continued progress being made through the school’s Eco-School journey. These conversations reflected the growing sense of responsibility students are taking toward caring for their campus and the world around them.

Planning for Teacher Appreciation Week was another important part of the discussion, with families and staff exchanging ideas on how to celebrate the dedication teachers bring to the school every day. The PTG also discussed the possibility of a future Family Engagement Night, creating excitement around another opportunity for families to connect through learning and shared experiences. In addition, members reviewed financial requests aimed at supporting school programs and discussed preferred dates for future community events to help encourage strong participation across the campus.
