ISG Superintendent Student Advisory Council Holds First Meeting of the Year
SHARE
ISG’s first Superintendent Student Advisory Council (SSAC) meeting of the year was held on Tuesday, 6 October, bringing together student representatives from all five campuses. We welcomed both returning and new members to the council, including seven students representing the British School Dhahran (BSD).
The meeting opened with an interactive activity focused on the importance of data collection, follow-up and closing the feedback loop — a key responsibility of SSAC members as representatives of student voice on their campuses. Students explored how effective advisory leadership requires not only gathering perspectives from across their student communities, but also ensuring that feedback is understood, communicated and followed through.
Students also connected ISG’s core values to the leadership and advisory skills needed to represent their campuses effectively and contribute positively to campus culture, relationships and student wellbeing.
The session concluded with students providing meaningful feedback on the Student Pulse Check Survey, which will launch soon across all campuses. We look forward to working with the council and supporting our students as they continue to develop their leadership skills and make a positive contribution to the ISG community.
